We've been in this lovely place for a few days now. We had a bit of a hiccup when only David's mom and one sister met up with us at Gatwick Airport. David's other sister, Kelly, lost her passport in the Vancouver airport and it wasn't returned until after her flight took off. It was so disappointing but, luckily, she found another flight for a couple of days later. She flew straight to Dublin and we picked her up and spent the day on the Hop On Hop Off bus.
But that's getting ahead of myself. Let's rewind to the beginning when it was just the six of us. We traveled from Gatwick to Cork, got our Toyota Verso 'people mover' and headed a few hours away to Duncormick in Wexford County. We had rented a beautiful house there on AirBnB. My dad says that you aren't lost until someone has to come find you - otherwise you're just temporarily confused. So, using those parameters, we didn't get lost once but we were very confused. Luckily, Mary, Steven and Fergus (the owners) were there to meet us and didn't mind the extra wait. The house (normally a B&B but we are renting the whole house) is HUGE! Four bedrooms and five bathrooms, two dining rooms and two living rooms and a sun room. I want to somehow put the sun room in my backpack and take it home. It's everyone's favourite place to be.

New Ross and Dunbrody Abbey
The Abbey was from the 1100's and we were given some information and a key to show ourselves around. It was really cool to be there all by ourselves. The woman at the Visitor's centre was so friendly and gave us the family discount even though that is usually for two adults and two kids. It was a great deal.
