Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we must go back in time and quickly catch you up from whence we came. That being said, we again had a couple of long days of travel, getting from Nekemte, Ethiopia to Amman, Jordan. After spending a number of excellent days in the city where the twins were born (and staying in what has to be considered the smallest “family room” any hotel we have stayed in has to offer (good sleeps were hard to come by with two people sharing each twin bed).
We boarded the Qatar airlines flight from Addis to Doha, Qatar. We had all vowed to sleep the three hour flight, since it was in the middle of the night, but we magically all got our second wind, and set to watching movies and TV shows until we landed at 6:30am.
The next morning, we awoke refreshed and ready to go! We headed out the door, and remembered, “Oh ya, it’s cold here! We have to buy some jackets.”
Once again, from this section of the grounds, there was a great opportunities to photograph Amman that lay below.
Just before signing off, I just wanted to keep a tradition going (that being, whenever we start a new country, to insert a picture of where we have been - mostly doing this just for me as my memory is not what it used to be). In any event, here is where we have been, and roughly how much distance we have traveled.
Hope you will continue to follow our journey, and thanks again for reading!
