The “message of the day” that Pope Francis communicated to all of us was spoken by the Holy Father in Italian only (unfortunately for those of us who don’t speak it), but the other segments of prayer and thanks were translated into the languages of the parishioners the Vatican knew had come from far away. It was a thoughtful touch that everyone assembled appreciated.
It looked like our time in Vatican City was coming to a close.
As we boarded our bus back to our apartment, the rain started to fall, and that somehow truly marked the end of our time in Vatican City, and Italy in general. We had a great time with Michelle's brother Ryan, and we are so glad he joined up with us, and could be there on the kids' birthday, too. Next stop...Prague, Czech Republic.
As always, thanks for reading and leaving comments. We really appreciate it!
